British Pathe Film Archive
Contains 3500 hours of film footage and 12,000,000 still images of key social history, sport and entertainment events from 1896 to 1970. A rich source of material for many subject areas in the curriculum, the Archive can be used by young people to create materials which demonstrate their own understanding of a given issue.

Channel 4 - Lost Generation
A website packed with information about the First World War including a database of the names of those who died.. The website is aimed at pupils aged between 11-16 years old and offers a tour of a typical trench, timelines of events including the Somme and reflections by contemporary teenagers.

Exam Guide 2008
Produced by the Sunday Herald in Spring 2008 to help pupils with revision. It contains useful information on exam structures and technique with practice questions and worked examples for Standard Grade, Intermediate and Higher subjects.
